What’s included

What you get

Everything in scope, from first workshop to launch.

01Start

Cloud audit

Review cost, security and reliability today.

Read more +Show less −

A cloud audit is a review of your current hosting, cost, security and reliability, ending with a prioritised list of risks and savings. It usually takes about a week. You see where money is wasted, what could cause an outage and what to fix first.

What you get

  • Cost breakdown by service, with idle and oversized resources flagged
  • Risk list ranked by likelihood and business impact
  • Security check of access, permissions and public exposure
  • Review of backups, recovery plans and single points of failure
  • Written report with recommended fixes and rough effort
  • Review call to walk through the findings

How it works

  1. Get read-only access to your cloud accounts and repositories
  2. Review costs, configuration, deployments and monitoring
  3. Rank risks and savings by impact and effort
  4. Present findings and agree which to tackle first

Good to know: We only need read-only access, so the audit cannot change anything in your live systems.

02Plan

Architecture

A cloud setup designed for your product.

Read more +Show less −

Architecture is the design of your target cloud setup on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, matched to your product, traffic and budget. You get clear diagrams and a written plan before anything is built, usually by week 2. We recommend a provider based on your existing tools, skills and costs.

What you get

  • Target architecture diagrams for each environment
  • Provider and service choices with reasons and trade-offs
  • Estimated monthly running cost for the proposed setup
  • Security, backup and disaster recovery design
  • UK or EU region choice to meet data residency needs

How it works

  1. Review audit findings, product plans and expected traffic
  2. Compare options and agree the provider and main services
  3. Draw the diagrams and write the plan for your review
  4. Agree the design and include it in the fixed quote

Good to know: Simpler is often cheaper to run, so we only suggest Kubernetes when your scale or team actually needs it.

03Build

Migration

Move systems with no or minimal downtime.

Read more +Show less −

Migration moves your applications and data to the new cloud setup in planned stages, with no or minimal downtime. You get a step-by-step plan, parallel testing and a rollback ready at every cut-over. The switch itself usually happens in a quiet window you choose, such as overnight or at a weekend.

What you get

  • Migration plan with order, owners and timings for each system
  • New environments built and tested alongside your current setup
  • Data migration with checks that records match
  • Rollback plan for every cut-over
  • DNS and traffic switch-over at an agreed quiet time
  • Old resources shut down once the new setup is stable

How it works

  1. Map every system, dependency and data store to move
  2. Build and test the new environment in parallel
  3. Rehearse the cut-over, then switch during a quiet window
  4. Monitor closely, then shut down the old resources

Good to know: Tell us about peak trading periods early so we can avoid them when scheduling the cut-over.

04Build

CI/CD

Automated testing and deployment pipelines.

Read more +Show less −

CI/CD sets up pipelines that automatically test and deploy every code change, so releases are faster and safer. You get pipelines in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and your infrastructure defined as code with Terraform or Pulumi. Releases stop depending on manual steps and one person's memory, and a rollback takes minutes.

What you get

  • Build, test and deploy pipelines for each application
  • Infrastructure as code in Terraform or Pulumi, in your repository
  • Separate staging and production environments
  • Automated tests and security scans on every change
  • One-click rollback to the previous release
  • Runbook explaining how to release and roll back

How it works

  1. Review how code is built, tested and released today
  2. Write infrastructure as code and set up environments
  3. Build the pipelines and connect your tests
  4. Run releases together until your team is confident

Good to know: Everything lives in your own repository and cloud accounts, so any competent team can run it later.

05Grow

Monitoring

Alerts, logs and cost tracking.

Read more +Show less −

Monitoring gives you alerts, logs and cost tracking so problems are spotted before customers notice them. You get dashboards in Grafana, Datadog or CloudWatch, and budget alerts that warn you before bills climb. After launch we can review monitoring, patching and costs with you every month.

What you get

  • Uptime, error and performance alerts sent to email or Slack
  • Central logs searchable across all services
  • Dashboards for health, traffic and response times
  • Budget alerts and a monthly cost report
  • Agreed on-call and escalation steps for incidents

How it works

  1. Agree what counts as healthy and what needs an alert
  2. Set up logging, metrics and dashboards
  3. Tune alerts so they fire only on real problems
  4. Review costs and alerts monthly and adjust

Good to know: Too many alerts get ignored, so we start with a few that matter and add more only when needed.

FAQ

Cloud & DevOps services questions

Which cloud providers do you work with?

AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, plus platforms such as Vercel. We recommend based on your existing tools, skills and costs.

Can you migrate us to the cloud without downtime?

Usually yes. We plan the migration in stages, test in parallel and switch over during a quiet window with a rollback plan.

Will we be locked in to you?

No. Cloud accounts are in your name and all infrastructure is defined as code in your repository, so any competent team can run it.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Often. We review usage, right-size servers, remove idle resources and set budget alerts. Savings depend on your setup and are measured before and after.

What is CI/CD and why do I need it?

Continuous integration and delivery automatically tests and deploys every code change. Releases become faster and safer, with fewer manual errors.

Can you host in the UK or EU?

Yes. We deploy to UK (London) or EU regions to meet UK GDPR, EU GDPR and client data residency requirements.

Who owns the code?

You do. All IP is assigned to you in the contract, and the code, accounts and documentation are yours from the first sprint.
