What’s included

What you get

Everything in scope, from first workshop to launch.

01Start

MVP scope

The smallest product that proves people will pay.

Read more +Show less −

MVP scope defines the smallest version of your SaaS product that real customers will pay for, so you can launch and learn quickly. It takes about 1–2 weeks of workshops. You get a prioritised feature list, a pricing model to test and a fixed, itemised quote.

What you get

  • Product brief with target customers and the problem solved
  • Prioritised feature list for MVP and later releases
  • Draft pricing model with plans and limits
  • Key user journeys from sign-up to first value
  • Fixed, itemised quote and delivery timeline

How it works

  1. Workshop on your idea, market and competitors
  2. List features and rank them by customer value
  3. Agree the MVP line and pricing to test
  4. Present the brief and fixed quote for approval

Good to know: Talking to a handful of likely customers before discovery gives us real evidence to cut or keep features.

02Build

Multi-tenant core

Accounts, teams, roles and data separation.

Read more +Show less −

The multi-tenant core is the foundation that lets many customer companies use one product while keeping each one's data fully separate. It covers accounts, teams, roles and single sign-on, built with tools such as Auth0 or Clerk. Getting this right early avoids a costly rebuild when you grow.

What you get

  • Sign-up, login and team invitation flows
  • Data separation between customer accounts, tested automatically
  • Roles and permissions such as owner, admin and member
  • Single sign-on for business customers
  • Admin console for your team to manage accounts
  • Audit log of key account actions

How it works

  1. Design how tenants, users and roles relate
  2. Build sign-up, login and team management
  3. Add SSO and permission checks across the product
  4. Test data separation before every release

Good to know: Decide early whether larger customers may need their own data region, as UK or EU hosting is easier to plan in from the start.

03Build

Billing

Subscriptions, trials and invoices.

Read more +Show less −

Billing sets up how customers pay for your product: subscription plans, free trials, upgrades and invoices, built on Stripe. Customers can manage their own plan and payment details without contacting you. Every billing flow is tested end to end before launch.

What you get

  • Stripe set up in your own account
  • Subscription plans, trials and usage limits
  • Self-service upgrades, downgrades and cancellations
  • Automatic invoices and receipts with VAT handled
  • Failed payment reminders and retry rules
  • Billing tests for each plan and scenario

How it works

  1. Agree plans, prices and trial rules with you
  2. Connect Stripe and build the checkout
  3. Add self-service billing and invoice emails
  4. Test every payment, upgrade and cancellation path

Good to know: Keep plans simple at launch, as two or three tiers are easier to sell and to change once you see real usage.

04Build

Analytics

Usage tracking so you know what customers do.

Read more +Show less −

Analytics adds usage tracking to your product so you can see which features customers use, where they drop off and who is likely to upgrade or leave. We use tools such as PostHog or Segment and set them up to respect UK and EU GDPR. You get dashboards from the first day of launch.

What you get

  • Tracking plan listing every event and what it means
  • Product analytics with PostHog, Segment or similar
  • Dashboards for sign-ups, activation and retention
  • Cookie consent and privacy settings for GDPR
  • Sign-up and onboarding funnel reports

How it works

  1. Agree the questions you need the data to answer
  2. Write the tracking plan and add events
  3. Build dashboards and check the numbers are correct
  4. Review the first weeks of data with you

Good to know: Track a small set of meaningful events first, as hundreds of untidy events make the data hard to trust.

05Grow

Scale

Performance, security and infrastructure for growth.

Read more +Show less −

Scale prepares your product to handle more customers and traffic without slowing down or failing. We load test before launch, set up autoscaling on AWS or similar, and define infrastructure in Terraform so it can be rebuilt reliably. Security reviews run as part of each release.

What you get

  • Load tests that simulate your expected peak traffic
  • Autoscaling so capacity grows and shrinks with demand
  • Infrastructure defined as code with Terraform
  • Error and performance monitoring with alerts
  • Security review of logins, data access and dependencies
  • Cost report with suggestions to keep cloud bills in check

How it works

  1. Set targets for users, response times and uptime
  2. Load test and fix the slowest parts
  3. Configure autoscaling, monitoring and alerts
  4. Review performance and cost as usage grows

Good to know: Most early products do not need complex infrastructure, so we scale in steps as real usage grows to avoid paying too early.

FAQ

SaaS development questions

How long does a SaaS MVP take?

Most of our SaaS MVPs launch in 8–12 weeks, covering sign-up, the core feature, billing and an admin area.

What is included in a SaaS MVP?

User accounts and roles, the main workflow, subscription billing (usually Stripe), an admin dashboard, analytics, and secure multi-tenant hosting you own.

Will investors care who owns the code?

Yes. Due diligence checks IP ownership. Our contracts assign all IP to you, and every repository and cloud account is yours.

Can the MVP scale later?

Yes. We build on proven, scalable architecture, so growing means adding features and capacity, not rewriting.

Do you help after launch?

Yes. We run ongoing two-week sprints for new features, or a monthly support plan covering fixes, updates and monitoring.

How do you keep SaaS data secure and GDPR compliant?

Tenant data isolation, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logs and UK or EU hosting, with a data processing agreement in place.
